Candice Smith

She was basically the only reason alot of us watched Survivor during that season. Don’t sleep on Candace Smith. You may have seen her sitting pretty in Diddy’s Ciroc commercials or in an episode of HBO’s Entourage, but the model/actress/comedian ain’t afraid to get dirty. She left the hills of Los Angeles to compete in the highlands of Brazil on Survivor: Tocantins.

The experience taught her to appreciate luxuries like running water and shelter, and she’s proud of herself for even attempting the self-imposed exile. Keeping the production a secret from friends and family wasn’t hard for Candace since her career requires plenty of jet-setting anyway.

“In general, I do impose periods of celibacy,” she wrote in an email, admittedly blushing. “I find that I am much more productive and happy. It is best that I am celibate unless I am in a serious relationship.”

Born and bred in Dayton, OH, she only lasted a year at a commercial real estate law firm after receiving her J.D. from Northwestern. She decided to haul ass to L.A. and take a shot at modeling and acting, but even that became just another hustle after a while. Her true passion? Comedy. She’s hilarious. And she gets paid for it, too.
