Olubowale Folarin (born September 21, 1984), better known by his stage name Wale, is an hip hop artist from Washington, D.C. He rose to prominence in 2006, when his song "Dig Dug (Shake It)" became popular in his hometown. Wale became locally recognized and continued recording music for the regional audience.

Michael Stevenson (born November 19, 1989), better known by his stage name Tyga (Thank You God Always), is an rapper. Tyga was born Michael Stevenson on November 19, 1989, in Compton, California. He is of Jamaican and Vietnamese descent, and a cousin of Travis McCoy, the lead vocalist of the group Gym Class Heroes. He achieved his first recognition opening for Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes during the Young Wild Things Tour in late 2007. His first single, "Coconut Juice," was released in 2008 and was directed by Rage. His first mixtape, No Introduction the Series: April 10, was released online in April. The second part to the series, No Introduction the Series: May 10, was released in May.
